OG ln our f1rst year we had Mr W1ll1am Wesel as adv1sor We soon elected class offxcers who were Presldent Joan Sloger V1ce presldent Al1da Kronsberg Secretary Margaret Shultes Treas urer Norma Jansen and Student Councll Delegates were Margaret Shultes and Joan Sloger Our f1rst year act1v1t1es were a rollerskat 1ng party at Knox Cave a Valent1ne dance and the mov1e S1nbad the Sa1lor We also co sponsored a magazme sales to boost our treas ury Our events were qulte successful At th1s t1me we chose our class colors blue and gold Our second year saw us as Sophomores w1th Mr John G Favreau and Mr Raymond Morrow as captams Pre s1dent Margaret Coogan Vxce pres1dent FTHHCIS Gerry Secretary Ann Wh1pple Treasurer Nanette McCorm1ck Student Councll delegates Le1la Crawford and Peter Roney were elected to lead our crew For events we selected an Easter Parade dance the mov1e entmtled ' The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer ' and a bake sale Our class presented the pr1ze w1nn1ng play Aunt M1randa's W1ll ' 1n the Jun1or Play Conte t On the thlrd lap of our Journey we had Mr Morr1s H Rlpps as our leader The off1cers were W1ll1am Smyth Edw1n Peverly Dor1s Page Joan Van Wormer FTHHCIS Gerry Joan Sloger and Madehne Bradt respectlvely as presldent v1ce presldent secretary treas fac1ng us as Jumors were chooslng class rrngs ra1s1ng money to help us through our two very expenslve years and f1nally our Prom We presented Custer s Last S1t ' to w1n the Play Contest for the sec ond tlme and a double feature movle Guadalcanal Dlary a d G ve My Regards to Broadway' The theme of our Jumor Prom was 'Dreams featurmg Garry Stevens as vocallst, vuth Ray Bozen sk1's orchestra F1nally we attamned the honor of be1ng Senlors We had Mrs Olga T Swlck and Mrs Alberta B Wr1ght a adv1sors Pres1dent Robert Dearstyne V1ce pres1dent Dav1d Greene Secretary Margaret Shultes Treasurer Nanette McCorm1ck Student Counc1l delegates Dor1s Page Edwm Peverly news reporter Madelmne Bradt carr1ed us safely through our f1nal year In October we presented the Har vest Moon Dance as our f1nal dance In November the task of pre sentrng the annual three act play fell upon us whlch we d1d qu1te well by present1ng A Month of Tuesdays Throughout our Sen1or year the one goal we all str1ved for was graduat1on Thus ended our hlgh school career The numerous sports and organ17at1ons of whlch we were a part together w1th the tremendous amount of fun we had w1ll never be forgotten And w1th these memo r1es the curta1n h been drawn on our h1gh school career I8 . : . -h i . - n- ' , Q.. , - 1 . . .
