G ass yfislorij Four years ago. the class of 58 made themselves known to all of Berne-French High School. To begin the climb up the ladder of success, we selected as our class officers: Tom Kirchhofer. President: Alan Yoder. Vice President; Alice Stauffer, Secretary; and Norma Lehman, Treasurer. For entertainment, we had a skating party each semester. Amid a trail of glitter and the ringing of bells, we entered into our Sophomore year. For our class parties, we had a backward hayride and a skating party. To carry us on our way, were Bryce Winteregg, President; Fred Stahley, Vice President; Deanna Sipe. Secretary; and Bette Smith. Treasurer. In our Junior year, we showed our talents in the field of dramatics by presenting “We Shook the Family Tree. Other highlights of the year were a skating party and a week of sack lunches in which we showed our Junior pride. Through this eventful year, our guides were Gary Beaty. President: Tom Steury. Vice President; Linda Raudenbush, Secretary, and Any Jo Eicher. Treasurer. The year was climaxed with an unforgettable Junior-Senior Reception, the theme being “Some Enchanted Evening.'’ At last, our Senior year came and with it many mixed emotions. To set us on our way, we had a skating party. We presented, “The Robe. as our class play. We received high praise for our work in this presentation. To take us to tin top rung of the ladder of success in high school, we chose Alan Isch, President: Don Mesh-burger. Vice President; Linda Raudenbush, Secretary: and Neva Von Gunten, Treasurer. Then came the Junior-Senior Reception, class trip, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. It is over: and with misty eyes, we look back over the fond memories of high school days in B.F.H.S.
