Spaceship landsj RON: Look at those new Oldsmobiles. I wonder who owns that lot? Cwalks over to lotj BILL REYNOLDS, are you the owner of this corporation? BILL: Of course I am. CAROL MCCRORY is my efficient secretary. Just now she's out to lunch with ANNE STAHLY, who is the secretary for an M.G.M. director. RON: Did anyone return to our home town? BILL: Yes. CAMERON WEBB teaches commercial subiects in the Berne-French High School. RON: I think l'll blitz over to Berne and see for myself. CRoar, large cloud of dustj RON: It's good to be back in our ol' city. That enormous building must be our new school. Hello, CHARLES FIECHTER. What are you doing here? CHARLES: I teach Ag here in school. I was iust going to take my wife to LOIS and PAT'S Beauty Shoppe. RON: Oh. Did any other classmates stay here? CHARLES: PHYLLIS and COLLEEN live here in town and are busy keeping house and family. BOB AMSTUTZ is the manager of the new, big l.G.A. store. It was constructed by BOB RElNHARD'S construction crew. RON: They sure did a swell iob. Are DUANE BLUHM and LESTER SMITH farming? CHARLES: Yes, they are. BILL STUCKY is the owner of a nationwide chain of department stores. RON: I guess l'll fliz up to Chicago. Perhaps l'll meet some one there. CFlashj RON: So this is the big city. EILEEN BAUMGARENER, what goes here? EILEEN: Hi, Ron. LINDA HEYERLY, ZENITH STRAHM, and I are in charge of an orphanage here in Chicago. DONNA MAE HABEGGER works in the Moody Bookstore. Yesterday I received a letter from ELAINE HABEGGER. She teaches fourth grade at Harrisburg, Pa. RON: l'll go over and visit. CZip.D RON: Hello, Elaine. How's the schoolmarm? ELAINE: Just fine. SALLY BEER and CONNIE LIECHTY are teaching here too. They have the first and second grade. Last week our fifth and sixth grades won the basketball tourney. JOHN KIRCHOFER is their coach. RON: NWell, well. Where's OMER SPRUNGER by now? ELAINE: I read in the paper that he ioined the Jimmy Lynch Thrill Drivers. Oh yes, LA VERNE HARTMAN is the Conservation agent for the big state forest in the upper part of the state. I believe KEITH AMSTUTZ is a TV technician in New York City. RON: Oh, he is? l'll dash that a-way and check up on him. CVa-Va-Va-Voom and off he goes.j RON: Howdy, Keith? How's the T.V.T.? KEITH: Just all right, I'd say. We've got some real nice gals working for us. RON: Who? KEITH: SHARLENE HUFFMAN, KAREN LEHMAN, and THEDA HELLER are secre- taries here on fifth floor. Yesterday DAVID CANEN gave his first weekly com- edy show. It was terrific! CHARLES LEHMAN was the guest trumpeteer. RON: Wow! Where is EVELYN PFISTER by now? KEITH: She's a receptionist for a doctor in Hollywood, Fla. Last she flew up to visit JOAN NEUEN, who is a psychologist here in New York. Evelyn said that CAROL LANTZ was the plane stewardess. I wonder how she got interested in flying. Hal And talking about planes, BEN SPRUNGER is a top-notch jet pilot in the Air Force: he's thinking about making flying his career. RON: So there we are.
