Dedication The Senior Class of 1954 wishes to dedicate this edition of “OUR YESTERDAYS” to Mr. Tharp, who by kindness and patience has made our high school days an experience long to be remembered and cherished. 3 orewor J The Senior Class of Berne-French High School is happy to present to you this 1954 edition of “OUR YESTERDAYS.” We hope the classes that follow will be able to recall as many pleasant memories as we were able to recall during our high school career. The Senior Class of 1954 feels deeply indebted to our teachers, who had patience with us, and to our parents, who made our education possible. We Pay Special Tribute to . . . . THE NEW ADDITION Back in 1940 the students of Berne High School were joyous over the fact that they had a brand new school building. This new building has served well and was adequate till the past two years. The need had arisen for more space; and. as usual, our patrons, school board, and administrators realized the need. They immediately began planning, and as a result we have a new addition. We are proud of our new building. It is one of the most modern units in the State of Indiana. So we, the senior class of 1954, are happy to pay this small tribute to our new addition. Four
