CLASS PROPHECY ALUMNI MEETING We will now have the minutes of the Alumni meeting of 1962. “. . . A motion was made by Mr. Bill Brace and seconded by Mr. Arne Liechty that as an experiment for keeping the files, the graduates of the class of 1953 send in movies of themselves to be spliced into one film . . .” The aggregation of the movies will be shown at this time. The first scene shows MAX LEHMAN with his F. F. A. boys judging in Chicago. There he is with Rosie and “little Lema.’’ Next we see FREDERICK HABEGGER conducting the Miami Beach Symphony Orchestra. He certainly shows good musicianship. JULIA ANN YODER is teaching a class of children in Africa. She’s holding them spellbound. DOUGLAS SCHINDLER is posing in front of his I. G. A. store. Doug always did like “working” with food. The 4-H girls are busy working on their projects. PATSY RUMPLE is instructing them. BILL BRACE is experimenting at the I. U. Laboratories. He is testing a new type of vaccination which prevents harmful germs from spreading while kissing. JERRY FLUECKIGER owns a garage on the north side of Berne. He specializes in “souping up” cars. ANN KAEHR is modeling furs for the Foxy Fur Company in New York. The Bears of ’63 with Coach JERRY SPRUNGER are receiving the Sectional Championship trophy. He’s got a couple “cubs” himself. GLORIA REINHARD is taking care of her own private nursery. She is also keeping books for the Serv-Us-Store. REGGIE MYERS is manager of the Shell Filling Station. It looks as though he has a lot of business. ARLENE SPRUNGER is seen in front of her dress shop. She designs and makes her own creations. CHESTER SMITH is still raising his Chester White hogs and Holstein cows on his 160-acre farm in French township. ERMA HABEGGER is playing the Hammond organ in the dining room of the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago. KEITH REINHARD has drawn the covers for the Saturday Evening Post for the past few months. There he is at his work. T wenty-tivo
