Grace Baumgartner plays a trombone: From it she gets a beautiful tone. She also has a remarkable trait. During twelve years of school she has never been late. Ned Bixler dribbles down the floor He shoots—“Yea Rah —he raises our score. What would the Berne Bears do without him For so often he puts the ball through the rim. We have a nice guy- his name is Bill Brace. He's got curly hair and a real cute face. In five minutes’ time he can devour five cokes And in between swigs entertain you with jokes. If your car breaks down and you’re in a panic. Call Jerry Flueckiger; he’s a good mechanic. He’ll fix a flat and repair the door And quiet your motor down to a roar. Paul Gchman can really sing. He’ll soon be just as good as Bing. And then he’ll entertain the crowds And lift their hearts above the clouds. Fred Habcggcr has a neat Chevrolet, It’s usually filled with girls, they say. Down the road and over the hill At the rate they're going, they're liable to spill. Darlene Heare likes to play ball; The Daisies will probably give her a call. She'll be the star player of the team And soon will be popular as peaches and cream. Shirley Heyerly, known as Kaye, Will be married the 31st of May. Her and Rog will have a life of joys With two little girls and four ornery boys. Ardena Hirschy is a riot. She is simply never quiet. Always full of vigor and vim, That's why she remains so slim. Ernie Isch with eyes of blue Is very tall and handsome, too. He's friendly to all and this is why He's a popular guy at Berne-French High. Ann Kachr is a Senior cutie. She is noted for her beauty. Colleen Lehman plays a clarinet; She plays it well but better yet She's sixty inches full of fun. Her face as radiant as the sun. Keith Reinhard, the Senior clown. With humor will remove your frown. He has two interests that give him pleasure, His art career and his Junior treasure. Evan Lehman—it's a fact. Could easily do a comedy act. For from this mastermind’s great brain Come simple ditties that entertain. Darlene Rich is quite a dame; Gibson soon will be her name. Then she’ll dust and clean the rug And make her new home cozy and snug. If you’re in a hurry and want to arrive. Get Margery Lehman and let her drive. She’ll entertain you all the way With a cute little giggle that’s light and gay. Patsy Rumple can manage a sir” And get any guy to go steady with her. Many girls would like to know What techniques she uses to get her beau. Marilyn Lehman—to a friend A helping hand will always lend. She’ll take time to do a kind deed. She has a soft heart for those in need. Doug Schindler—all through the year Has an abundant supply of good will and cheer. He keeps plodding on though the work is tough, And can always smile when the going is rough. Max Lehman has a good reputation. The Yager home is his present station. He goes there often to see his Rosy To whom he murmurs. My sweet posy.” In the hall the girls all sigh When Chester Smith goes walking by. With all the kids he really rates But only Junior girls he dates. Myrtella Lehman is busy at work; At the Equity she is a clerk. In no other store will you meet A girl who is so kind and sweet. Her hair is blond—blue her eyes: Arlene Sprunger attracts the guys. She is vivid and fascinating. It’s no wonder she is dating. Roy Lehman is often seen Working down in our canteen. His management throughout this year Has been appreciated here. Jerry Sprunger’s a basketball star. Asthma is his favorite car. Jerry’s smile we’ll never forget. It's thrilled many girls, on this you can bet. Arne Liechty is crazy about girls. He likes them with or without curls. By many now he is adored For with him they are never bored. Who is that behind that book? Let’s go over and take a look. It's Keith Sprunger in a chair With long legs stretched, he’s reading there. Danny Liechty gets a letter. If he was sad. he now feels better. The words were written by someone dear. A girl whom Danny wishes near. Marjorie Sprunger is almost dizzy. The kids at the Palmer House keep her so busy. She brings us sundaes, pop. and candy. We all agree that she’s just dandy. Rochelle Liechty has a craving for Stu. Against her wishes, others do too. But she goes merrily through each day Making wisecracks without any pay. If you’d like to hear a beautiful tune. Be sure to hear Shirley Steury real soon. She plays Tchaikovsky and Chopin with ease As her limber fingers fly over the keys. Karen Moser is set for life— She is destined to be a wife. Already she has the man picked out And loves him dearly, there is no doubt. Add. subtract, multiply, divide— John Stucky’s knowledge of math is wide. Without the slightest move of his thumb Of two large numbers can tell you the sum. Shirley Moser, quiet and nice. Would be very happy to give you advice On how to make a beautiful dress. For she’s a good seamstress—this we confess. Dick Sweeney has lots of mechanical skill At which he really works with a will. He’s very good out in the shop. And someday he will reach the top. Reggie Myers works for Shell; He likes his job there very well. He fills the tank of every car With gas so they can travel far. Julia Yoder is always jolly; She abstains from evil folly. A success in life she’s sure to be For she takes studies seriously. Stanley Neuenschwander is the he That fills a. Freshman girl with glee. At Gerber’s he a name has made And for his good work he is paid. Gloria Reinhard thinks about Ted. He is the uppermost thought in her head. Sing a song of Erma. A lass who is a poet.
