Freshman Class History In September of the year 1947, twenty-seven of us launched our High School Career—determined that our class should prosper and our school benefit because of our efforts. After our initiation we felt qualified to compete with the upper classmen and to make ours an outstanding class. Our class officers are Charles Nagel as president, Robert Gilliom as vice president, Roderick Liechty as secretary and George Balsiger as treasurer. They have proved themselves worthy of the honor reposed in them. We had two enjoyable parties, one held at our school gym and the other a skating party. We hope that all of our parties in the future will turn out as good as these did. We wish success to all future freshmen and hope that they will find their fresh enjoyable as we did. man year as Row 1: Richard Allspaw, Edward Amstutz, Marlene Amstutz, Arlene Balsiger, George Balsiger, Ardus Beaty.
