Vv Fresh as Paint Twice as Green In September of 1946, we made our debut into a great new experience, namely, high school. We acquired the name of freshman. We have elected LaMar Wnteregg as president, Waneta Zimmerman as vice president, Duane Lehman as secretary, and Joan Moser as treasurer. We don't let the name “Green Freshies” bother us for we are striving to make our class the most exciting that the Berne School has ever had. We had a very good start toward our goal, too, for we had an enjoyable party at the C. C. C. Camp. We hope that all our parties will be as good as this one was. We are looking forward to our next three years in high school with great anticipation. We are ready to discard our present positions in hopes that the eighth grade will enjoy it as much as we have.
