Frosh on the Green Arlene Haeegger, President Ruth Inniger, Vice President Jack Lehman. Secretary Joe Wittwer, Treasurer In the fall of 1945 we at last entered high school life. We had waited a long time. At the beginning of the year we were a bit timid, but we soon got into the swing of things. We chose as our class officers, Arlene Habegger, President; Ruth Inniger, Vice President; Jack Lehman, Secretary; and Joe Wittwer, Treasurer. The highlight of the year for the girls of our class was the party and the initiation the senior girls gave us, which we will never forget. In October we had a class party in the gym. Our class is striving to be the kind of class Berne School will have been proud of when we graduate. Freshmen First Row: Sharon Allspaw. Marvin Amstutz. Harry Eck-rote. Jr.. John Eichenberger.
