Looking Ahead Building For A Future Day Bermudian Springs High School is looking to the future—in our students and in the institution itself. Renovations to the high school will begin in the sum- mer of 1988. The school, built in 1960, needs a few changes because of the growing student body. The following are some of the tentative plans: One end of the interior courtyard will be enclosed. The second floor of the enclosure will be a new library, while the first floor will be a new computer room. Also Rooms 126 and 226 will no longer exist. The original library area will be converted back into classroom space. The chemistry and biology labs will be renovat- ed with modern equipment and furniture. The current weight room will be expanded to accommodate the growing number of students striving to keep fit. A re- medial gym will be added in order to make room for extra physical education teaching stations and for those students with special needs. The home econom- ics suite will be redesigned, and the music room will be changed to double its present size. Room 127, currently the health room, will be joined to an addition for large group instruction. The future of Bermudian Springs is looking bigger and better. Mew facilities will make for new learning experiences for the up and coming graduating classes of Bermudian Springs School District. The Class of 1992, next year's freshmen, will see a new era unfold at B.S.H.S. during their four years here. 8 Future
