Days Of Style We've Got The Look This year's fashion ranged from denim to lace. The familiar look in the halls was lace ribbons in hair and scarfs draped over the shoulders. It was these accessories that spiced up even the dullest outfits. A more casual but popular look was denim. Denim showed up in the form of jackets, dresses, shoes, and pocketbooks. Denim was popular this year be- cause of its casualness and versatility. Other familiar looks were flannel and concert shirts, flannel shirts were worn in numbers because they too were comfortable, and they provided warmth on cold days. Concert shirts were worn to express individual views of favorite rock groups. Mot only did the student body express themselves through their dress, but also through their hair- styles. Hair sculpturing became popular. The terms stripes and Bosworth became defined. Some athletes even got their initials or jersey numbers shaved in their hair. Mo matter what was worn, one was sure to be in style because diversity and variety were in this year. (top) Laurie Larson models the look of head-to-toe lace.
