Principals Congratulations to the Class of 1960. You are to be commended for completing this important step in your educational experience. Some of you have achieved outstanding records in many areas of your high school program. You have worked hard to merit the honors which are deservedly yours. All of you have met requirements which are above the state-mandated minimum. A few of you have continued to work and study in the face of difficulties and discouragement. We hope that we have been some encouragement and help to all of you as you have worked for your diplomas. Those of you who are able to continue your edu- cation and prepare for a profession are encouraged to push on toward that goal. Some of you will have completed your formal education when you receive your diploma. Whatever the case may be, you should continue to improve yourselves mentally and spirit- ually by making use of the many opportunities for intormal learning which are available in our society. Best wishes to each of you, Amos D. Meyers Supervising Principal At no time in history has the world progressed to the point of its existence as we know it today. This can be reiterated daily, or annually, and will always be true as long as American students possess the willingness to meet the future as exemplified by the class of ”60.” The faculty and I congratulate them on their progress at this point in their life span, and wish them the best as they venture into other fields of ’’life. It is with great pleasure that I congratulate the 1960 class of Bermudian Springs High School graduates. Your school district has worked long and hard to provide advanced educational facilities for the students in ou area, and we have now reached one of our final goals - that of providing physical facilities to expedite a more complete educational program. We expect to have the East Berlin addition ready for occupancy for the fall term of school, and the new high school building should be ready for use by mid-winter. I'm sure parents as well as students eagerly anticipate the move to new quarters. While the 1960 graduates have not had the pleasure of the new facilities, lam sure they are well qualified to take their places in community and professional circles.
