Dedication It is with deep appreciation that we dedicate this book to Mr. Hebert. We realize that without his advice and help, making our yearbook would have been difficult at best, and impossible at worst. His skill in uniting the efforts of the staffs of the two schools was admirable. It was certainly not an easy task. Most of the students at both East Berlin and York Springs have become acquainted with Mr. Rebert in his field of guidance counseling. We appreciate his ability in this area. The personal attention which we received from him was an invaluable aid to our education and a helpful guide to our plans for the future. A smaller number of students have had the privilege of studying business education under Mr. Rebert. They recognize him as a truly gifted teacher. His classes are interesting and you learn in them, too! And so it is with pleasure that we dedicate the 1960 Reflector to Mr. Rebert, a helpful advisor, wise counselor, dedicated teacher and good friend. 8

It is with great pleasure that I congratulate the 1960 class of Bermudian Springs High School graduates. Your school district has worked long and hard to provide advanced educational facilities for the students in ou area, and we have now reached one of our final goals - that of providing physical facilities to expedite a more complete educational program. We expect to have the East Berlin addition ready for occupancy for the fall term of school, and the new high school building should be ready for use by mid-winter. I'm sure parents as well as students eagerly anticipate the move to new quarters. While the 1960 graduates have not had the pleasure of the new facilities, lam sure they are well qualified to take their places in community and professional circles. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Bermudian Springs Joint School District I offer sincere best wishes for the future. 10 Ralph W. Tyson Joint Board President
