Principals Message I extend my congratulations to everyone who has worked on the 1959 Meteor. This truly represents a pioneer effort. The publication could not have been possible without resourcefulness and hard Work upon the part of students and faculty advisors. This enterprise represents a challenge which has been met successfully. It also reveals a lesson by showing that ideas can become realities through hard work. The book will give pleasure to many people now and will provide pleasant memories for the years ahead. This is a job Well done. My best Wishes for a future of accomplishment and happiness go out to all members of the graduating class.

Prcsiclcnfs Message We, the class of 1959, will soon be taking the first really important step of our lives, that of graduation from High School. To many it will mean the end of formal education, while to others it will signify the beginning of advanced learning in colleges and universities. Regardless of our future plans, it would be well for all of us to realize that within a few short years, the responsibility of maintaining our free society will rest upon the shoulders of our generation. Only by facing up to this responsibility and continually working to improve our minds, will we be capable of existing as a free people in the unsettled world of today. James Eadie
