HOMECOMING MEMORIES Homecoming Week began, Monday, with Crazy Clothes Day, followed by Grandpa and Grandma Day, Little Kids Day, and Hippie Day. It ended Friday with people dressing like their floats or in school col- ors. Friday, starting with the traditional pep assembly and parade, was the climax of the week. Unveiled results showed that everyone's hardwork paid off. Class com- petition cheers and the skits were pre- sented at the pep assembly. Mr. and Miss Berlin were named-Greg Doro and Jody Zarnott. Then it was off to the parade. Each class proudly yelled behind their floats. To everyone's dismay, bad weather set in after the parade and lasted throughout the game. Still the cheerleaders and a few loyal fans watched an excellent game. The Indians shut out the Winneconne Wolves- 12 to 0. The dance, featuring Belixis, followed the game from 10:00 until 12:00. The results of class competition were announced. The Seniors and Juniors did equally well in the contests, each receiving two firsts, a second and a third. The Seniors won with their skit based on the movie Rocky and their window which featured Elvis saying, We'll stomp 'em with our green suede shoes. The Juniors received a first on their float, which pictured a Rice Kri- spies box. The slogan read, We'll snap, crackle, pop 'em. Their first place bul- letin board read, It's a Good Year for an Indian Victory I Homecoming Week is a special time for everyone, and this year proved to be a memorable success.
