Four years have passed for us at Berlin High School. Four years of learning, de- veloping strong friendships, and growing towards maturity. Four years that have left us with memories that we will take from here into our luture lives. These memo- ries, both sad and happy, will keep us close to our high school days forever. Everyone has had his own personal experiences which hold special meanings for him alone, but we can all share in the memories of past events in which we partici- pated as a class. Let’s journey back intime to our first year of high school. Remember how lost we were? It was a totally new experience for us. Homecoming was fun because it was the first time we hau really worked together as a class. Despite all the fun we had. we didn’t fare very well in the Homecoming competition. Our first float “We’ll Strip Them Tigers of fheir Stripes for an UnBAREable Victory, brought us a fourth. The tiger on it was so bad we had to cover it up with a blanket. Our skit was our only decent thing. Our version of “Hee Haw” pulled us a second. Before we knew it our freshman year was over. Our Sophomore year brought with it many new and exciting experiences. Home- coming was more of a success for us. By learning from our previous mistakes, we managed to pull our first first on our float, They’ll Be at tne Mercy of our W heels. Our skit based on “Happy Days” brought us a second. The big excitement of the year was the selection of the class rings. Our Sophomore year drew to a close bring- ing with it the end of our first half of our high school days. Our junior year was really great. Our class had really pulled together. Though we didn’t do very well during Homecoming, three thirds and a fourth, we sure had a lot of fun. Finally the big event we had all oeen looking forward to-prom. Our theme song “Reflections of My Life” with the main theme of “Memories” really seemed to sum up our feelings of the past events leading up to prom. Now all we can do is look back to all the planning and preparation and realize that they are only memories. Our junior year ended with the anticipation of our senior year and graduation. Our senior year, we were tough seniors, the leaders of the school... Our Home- coming was a big success. We received one first and three seconds. We also won the Homecoming game, our first victory on Homecoming during our high school years. Our basketball team also made our senior year even more exciting as they were con- tinually leading the ECC. A senior wrestler George Kafer also wrestled in the State tournaments. Our senior vear holds many memories that we will cherish and laugh about for many years. Tne memories of all the different sports events, all the friends, all the'happiness, all the tears, and most of all our working together as a class. The past holds memories, the future holds dreams. Treasure the past and make your dreams come true. Congratulations to the class of 1977, there'll never be an- other class like us.
