Principal As each school year passes, we sometimes overlook the total educa- tional development that has taken place in students’ minds. When the present graduating class of 1956 entered high school four years ago, very few of these students, then just finishing the eighth grade, had any defin- ite idea of what kind of work they wanted to prepare themselves for. If one would ask the present class of ’56 what they intend to do, you would get definite answers, as, “I am going on to be a nurse, teacher, or I intend to go into office work, or plan to be a farmer . . The fact that these graduates have made up their minds what they want to do is a part of the total educational development that the school is working toward and interested in. It is our hope that as each year passes, the school will progress educationally so that future graduates will be better prepared to meet the highly technical age that we are entering. C. F. Shaw

Superintendent” In this age of automotion the emphasis will be on developing trained and well adjusted human beings. Since our country is dedicated to the principles of democracy the welfare and happiness of its people will continue to be its prime concern. The high school will play an ever increasing part to bring about this broad objective. To maintain the status quo is not enough for this rapidly changing time. Our young people need to have a well balanced education that will prepare them to meet the challenges of this new world. Our new facilities have given our high school a tremendous boost in morale. It is our hope that the community will recognize the poten- tiality of its school in preparing its young people and in its ability to serve the community. C. R. Wolf
