Five Star General Each year the Mascoutin does a fine job of reliving the many events that have occurred during the school year. This year is no exception. The year 1952-53 has been filled with hard work and constructive play. Berlin High School follows the philosophy of trying within its abilities, to help each individual child develop mentally, physically and socially to the best of his abilities. Surely we realize our handicaps, but where both the teacher and pupil work together toward a common goal, much good is bound to come out of these experiences. It is my hope that the class of “53” will look back on their four years at Berlin High and have the feeling of satisfaction that comes from doing one’s best. C. F. Shaw
