Spirit Week Berlin High students exhibited their enthusiasm during Spirit Week, from Monday, Sept. 8 to Friday, Sept. 12, 1986. Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen alike participated accordingly on Bum Day, Color Day, Decade Day, and Theme Day. At the Pep Rally, the fall sports’ teams were introduced, in addition to performances by the band, colour guard, drill team, and cheerleaders. Following the introductions, the competitions commenced. Using the theme “Senior Hall of Fame,” the Class of ’87 received its third consecutive trophy for the hallway competition. The Seniors were also victorious in the toilet paper wrapping, tug of war, and Spirit competitions. The Spirit Dance held Friday night and the varsity football team’s triumph over Montville at Sage Park on Saturday afternoon were the highlights of the crazy, unforgettable week. 4 STUDENT LIFE
