©Ije 198B ifootball Seam The 1986 Berlin Football team enjoyed a winning season this year. This year’s record of 9-2 overall, and 4-1 In the Northwest Conference matched the best record in Berlin football history. Coach Al Pelligrinelli, and assistant coachs Nick Pepe, Bill Bacearo, Pat Phaup, and student coach Bob DeMuchio guided the team through a remarkable season. Captains Rocky Urso and Chris McHale, and seniors Jamie Dubuc, Dean Faucher, Dan Munson, Ed Rossy, Tim Dalena. and Bill Peckrul led the 1986 squad. Quarterback Marc Carosielli had a great year, along with juniors Corey Talbot, Brian Mongillo, and sophomore Jay DelGrosso, who came off the bench. The team was co-holder of the Northwest Conference title along with Middletown High School. Tyrone takes a breather from the tough game. A chain reaction sends the Avon player to the ground.
