State Representative Loren Dickinson addressed National Honor Society members, inductees, and guests at the annual induction ceremony held at Berlin High School on January 16, 1987. Representative Dickinson recollected that, despite his missing Honor Society membership, he had always striven for excellence in his professional life. He encouraged his audience to put their demonstrated academic achievement to good use in their future lives by always working to realize their full potentials. Cindy Kasulis, Honor Society President, preceded Representative Dickinson’s address with a welcome to the assembly. After book awards and the candle lighting ceremony, the inductees, directed by advisor Thomas Warburton, were led in the Honor Society oath by Principal Thomas Galvin. Superintendent of Schools L. L. Gian-domenico followed Representative Dickinson with some closing remarks. A reception in the Berlin High Media Center immediately after the induction was enjoyed by all. 20 STUDENT LIFE Berling High School Chapter, National Honor Society, 1987
