The dedication of the 1983 LAMP is offered to a person who has served our school and community in a number of ways. He has befriended many students while teaching his physical education classes, and while coaching both the football and girl's track teams. Now, looking back over the past four years, we begin to realize how much he has done for us, how much he means to us, and how much we will miss him; this man is Al Pelligrinelli, better known as Coach P U.AO J l ■ To Our Coach Dear Coach P., How can we thank you for your total dedication to the coaching of our Girl's Track Team? Since our freshman year, you have given us the incentive to work and to achieve as a team. You have taught us to win as well as to lose with pride. And most of all, you have helped us to realize how important it is to take pride in ourselves and our accomplishments. Coach P. Thank you for all your time and effort. When things were going badly you stuck by us, encouraging us all the way. You never let us forget how good we were — and your confidence in us paid off. We began to win, and the more we won, the more we realized that, without you, none of this could have happened. You became our coach and our friend — someone we could relate to. How awed we were by you as freshmen, only later to realize that you were a person just like us.
