Art In the past ten years, the Art Department has seen a major expansion of its program which was made possible through new facilities. The new addition to the high school building provided well equipped rooms to house the department and its students. The major goal of the Art Department is to promote the presence and to stress the importance of art in man ' s envi- ronment. One means for promot- ing this awareness is the course offering of Humanities, an inter- disciplinary course taught in conjunction with the English Department. Business Keeping up with the business world, the Business Department is constantly changing both machines and teaching meth- ods. Office practice sets have just been added, and the curricu- lum has been revised to allow business students to take more courses in this area. The stu- dents learn their constitutional rights and the practical aspects of law in Business Law, a popular half year course Through D E C. A. and the school store, students gain hands on” experience in run- ning their own business. This worthwhile endeavor is advised by Business Department mem- bers and supervised by Miss Czarnecki.
