The Latin Club and some of the Spanish students went to Cleveland to visit the Cleveland Art Museum in November. The members attended the J. C. L. convention April 10 at Ohio State in Columbus. They visited Margaretta in April to see the show, Julius Caesar. They held their annual Latin Week 1 2 April 27 to May 1 and had their banquet late in May.

In the past year, the local chapter attended the district land judging contest in which they received first place. The members of the team were Tom Ward, Tim Gammie, and Clark Hahn. By winning the district, it gave them the right to attend the state contest in which they placed very high. The crops, netting $218, were planted and harvested during the year. I At Christmas the chapter sold Christmas trees.
