The Future Homemakers of America held Informal Initiation September 25, 1957 for 25 new members. The F. H. A. and F. F. A. held a combined dance on November 22. Barbara Fox won the local cherry pie contest and went on to win the county and regional contests. Barbara and Mrs. Fowler motored to Canton for the state contest on February 1, 1958. The members and several of their mothers attended the annual Flower Show in Cleveland on March 5.

Richard Baker, Tom Ward, Ted Buss, Fred Beer. The F.F.A. had their annual scrap drive In the last of March. The chairman of the drive was Richard Baker. Bay Otto won a gold medal In the extemporaneous district contest at Bowling Green In January. This contest Is sponsored by the F.F.A. Association. PARLIAMENTARY TEAM First Bow: Bruce Burnham, Tom Ward, Ted Buss, John Johnson, Dick Baker. Second Bow: Bay Otto, Tim Gammle, Bay Buss, Gerald Otto. Third Bow: Fred Beer, Jim Kln«. The Berlin F.F.A. Parliamentary Procedure won the annual county contest by defeating Margaretta and Milan at Margaretta on November 20. Margaretta came In second with Milan as third.
