Class Prophecy grapher and soon worked her way up to be the private secretary to the president of a large firm in Williamstown. It wasn't long after that, that she married him. He hap- pens to be 6'5 . People are trying to decide whether their two boys are going to be giants or midgets. No decision has been made as yet. Barbara became a stenographer in an advertising agency right after grad- uation. She is now vice president of the agency. She is not married yet, but is wearing a fairly large diamond on her left hand. Could it be the president, Barbara? Frances Shaw and Loretta Good- ermote now arrive in flashy uni- forms. Frances joined the V aves after graduation and is still in service. She is now a lieutenant. Loretta took a beautician's course and then joined the Waves. She is now a beautician at one of the bases. Pat Boehm and Leslie Crandall noisily enter with some of their wise remarks we so well remember from English and social studies class. Pat married soon after grad- uation and is now living in Colorado on a big ranch. Pat is really famous. She is the only woman in the world to ever have six children at once. No wonder she can afford a big ranch. Leslie is married for the fourth time and is living in California. He got a Hollywood contract shortly after graduation and has become a star comedian. He now owns his private plane. On the way out, he stopped and picked up Pat so they came on East together. Lynn Manchester, Nelson Sweener, and Alvin Berry have come in while we have been visiting. Lynn took a job as ski instructor and now runs a ski school of his own. There is a rumor that our former Connie Jorgenson is his star pupil, but no one has verified it yet. Nelson is a bookkeeper in a big firm in Pittsfield. He has been married twice and is at the present thinking of entering the third marriage. He and Leslie turned out to be quite the lovers! Alvin, our P.G. is now manager of the G.L.F. in Stephen- town. He is married and has trip- let girls. The last of our class seems to be coming in the door now. They are our class clowns, Medora Ami- don and Connie. Medora is still as crazy as ever, but she is happily married. She joined the Air Force after graduation and served over- seas. While over there, she met a friend from home and finally married him after several months of battles worse than any soldier ever saw. Connie is the champion of our class. Even if she was late a lot of the time while she was in school, she has proven that she is not always late. She broke all records swimming the English Channel and she walked away with several honors for America in the 1956 Olymphics. That seems to be all of our class, but it still seems as though someone is missing. There is someone getting out of a 1961 Kaiser out front so that must be who is missing. Our class adviser, Mr. Surdel, and family are arri- ving. He still goes in for Kaisers. There seems to be an addition to the family of three that we remem- ber from '51. He now has two little girls and a boy besides Stevie. He seems pretty spry for an old man. Mrs. Surdel has grey hair now, must be that family of theirs is quite a worry. 19
