Senior Class Histor The little inconspicuous room that hides beside the library was like a mighty fortress to the Seniors of the Class of 1964. It was here that we planned our strategy to protect our interests. After all, we were outnumbered by every other class in the school. We were the most individualistic people in the school, or so it seemed when the twenty-eight of us attempted to agree on anything. When we finally called truce and made a decision, we were most active. Actually no project in the school was dompleted without Senior participation. We must have been suffering from delusions of gran- deur because we simply HAD to lead the school onward and upward! When there was a Student Council meeting, a third of the class marched out homeroom. However, it was not as though they were getting out of homeroom because, we were proud to say, they worked hard to keep the students busy with new activities. Honor Society kept the seniors even busier with their homework. Perhaps the greatest loss to the Senior Class was the boys. Coach King summoned forth the male forces to protect the school against each visiting team while the few remaining Seniors sat alone in the bare little room. Since all the captains and most of the managers and star players came from our particular fortress, we were very proud when the trophies were presented. We were not completely without culture either for we contributed four of the best members to the chorus. The Bear Faris would have been bare had the Seniors not devoted their precious time and effort to the paper. Somehow we decided on our rings and invitations, and managed to find times and places for our mutual fun. Through the thin and thick of it, we survived the year, led the school, and won the ultimate award - graduation.
