Having soon be- come known in the company for his adroitness at getting into the hospital or on the excused squad, L. D. went further and acquired a regiment-wide reputation for his special virtue of being able to please the women. He is headed for submarines, which bodes well for that service because of his interest in, and practical knowledge of, his pro- fession.
