United Diversity As the group's name suggests, this musical- evalgelistic team has found the new life in Christ to be one of per- J fect joy and peace. lt is this experience they seek to share with all unto whom they min- ister. The group, which was organized in January of 1968, has travelled ex- tensively in New Eng- land and Canada and has participated in such events as: regular church senlices, evan- gelistic crusades, Fa- ther - Son Banquets, Sweetheart Banquets, gl .Q various social events, and Youth Conferences . and retreats. Members of the team include: Gail Warren, Brenda Hardway, El- len Waning, Margaret Downs, Roy' Morrison, Roger Brown, Ray Mar- co, and Bob Story. It has been the privelege o fthe group to work under the direction of Prof. Warren Whitney. With thankful and thrilled hearts, the New Life Singers consider it a blessed opportunity to represent Christ and Berkshire in this way. The United Diversity was formed primarily to reach ,teenagers through music with today's sounds. The theme of the group is expressed in the name: members diverse in back- ground, interests, and talents, butl united in Jesus Christ. The group is composed of eight members Kfour men and four womeni and a variety of musical instruments. Faculty ad- visor is Professor Frank Johnston. Music forthe U. D. comes from many sources, including compositions by one of the members, Donna Gall- man.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladnessg come before His presence with singing. Psalm 100:1, 2 Praise God for the talents He gives to many including that of the mini- stry through music. The Berkshire Christian College Chorale, under the direction of Mr. Warren Whitney, has been a real in- strument in the promotion of the college and as a witness for the Christ we serve. Each spring the Chorale goes on a tour. This year the three year string of Southern tours was broken. The Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts area enjoyed the Chorale's ministry this Spring. Grace Jubilaires He put a new song in my mouth, A song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, And put their trust in the Lord. Ps. 40:3 The Grace Jubilaires consist of a women's trio and a men's quartet. Truly God has been good to our team, giving us many opportunities to sing and to preach God's word. Our min- istry has ranged from the sun- ny South to the wintry land of Canada. Our style of music is South- ern Gospel , a type of music that is new to the school. As a group, we feel that this type of music has brought a new di- mension and a fresh approach in witnessing for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
