Living for the momenf LKing for the moment, a com- mon expression used by many to ex- plain how teenagers live. According to parents. They ne ' er think before they do or say something. Many students don ' t realize that their high school years are short, and they don ' t stop to think about the future. They live day to day, hour to hour, mo- ment to moment. This expression is taken from another phrase, carpe deim mean- ing ' to live for the time, and it seems to reflect upon today ' s society oi young people.
