tavoring the moment — a tired Mike McCrary [esls his eves beiore his date ludy Townsend wants to lance again Lasf dance Prom signifies seniors ' final fesiiviiies Moments and memories began for the seniors of 1985 on Saturday, May 18 in the Sheraton Park Central ballroom. Prom goers were treated to an evening of dancing to music from the live band, Leather and Lace, in the beautiful burgundy and pink decorated room. After three years of fundraising ac- tivities, and many anxious moments, members of the class were finally able to buy tickets to the event for only $ 10. per couple. This brought over 400 couples out to share in a night of festivities with members of their class. Accompanying the evening was souvenirs for the seniors and their dates with brandy snifters and matches at each table. There was also a breakfast served at midnight. Those students who did not spend most of the evening standing in line to get their pictures made, found the variety in dance music very satisfying for all tastes. Angie Fairman noted that the night was, really something to remember, it was the highlight of our graduation celebrations. Many memories were indeed made as seniors enjoyed the prom they had been waiting for, ending 12 years of dreams. (I) U«Rrt) Before you go . . .
