At times it is hard for one to distinguish whether something is a fad or if it ' s a fashion. Sometimes fads are fashions. The big winner this yea r is given to hair. Not anyone ' s head in general, just hair. No one wears a basic hairstyle anymore. It either has to be gelled, moussed, perm- ed, waved, colored, bleached, or shaved a certain way. The Euro- peans have definitely influenced some students, and it ' s not with your basic Mr. T. style either. Some people have gone outrageously wild with their hair, what are they going to do when their hairstyle has gone out of style? Clothes have also taken a turn this year, but instead of mini skirts, it ' s short cropped pants. These two fashions are popular, but more than likely they will go back out of style only to come back in 20 years from now. Other new fashions are: lace hose and gloves, over-sized clothes for girls, and neon (w hich is fading fast.) Last but not least, the feet.
