Homecoming Homecoming 1979 began in a flash of green and white as the balloons signifying the opening of the festivities were released in the air at Wildcat- Fiam Stadium. Following a procession of beautiful floats, Lori Beasore was crowned the 1979 Homecoming Queen during the half time festivities by last year's queen, Sandy Blankenship. Lori was attended by her court comprised of junior princess Lezlie lv1cPhail, sophomore duchess, Tracy Albrecht and freshman maiden Jalinda Wilson. For the second year in a row the junior class won the most decorative float. Following the coronation activities, Berkner had their only tie game of the season when they played Pearce. Homecoming was highlighted by a formal dance held Saturday night in the Summit. Old and present students alike enjoyed the 1979 gala Homecoming affairs. A tvifies X
