Everyone Is Important at Berkner The school year of 1975-76 saw problems continue in the world; prob- lems of misunderstanding among peo- ples and nations, problems of not car- ing and of no interest in others. And yet, in a broken world so tragi- cally pulled apart and fragmented, hope continued to spring eternal. Rams faced the future with cour- age and hope. They extended a hand of welcome to students visiting from other countries. They spent many hours working on service projects to benefit members of the community. They grew to know each other better. Berkner and Pearce Perforin Together Football — that favorite American fall pastime — is one of the many areas in which Rams demonstrate their winning spirit. From the football team to the band, from the Bandoleras to the cheerleaders, pep squad, and Key Club Bell Guard, all are proud to be Rams. That same spirit and pride was demonstrated all year by students who were not members of any of these organizations, but who were simply fans, and who supported their Rams, win or lose, until the end. 1 . United States Marine Corps color guard performs at the Berkner-Pearce half time. 2. Don Starkey, are you under there.- ' 3. Mark Tarpley rambles around left end for another gain. 4. Brad McKissack gains needed yardage against the Mustangs. 5. Mark Tarpley and Coach Beane discuss game strategy. 6. Marcia Lucas shows an example of the award-winning Bandolera spirit.
