CLASS HISTORY There is only little remembered about the younger grades, it ' s almost all but a mirage now. We did learn a great deal and had alot of fun but since we were young, most details have been forgotten. Some of the little images we do remember though are that of the good times. In the younger grades we had class trips, unlike now. We also used to have recess, but we had to watch out though. If we got in trouble they ' d be taken away. Another clear memory is about our lunches. When we were young we would always fight over Who had the best lunch box. To avoid these fights, alot of us just brought dinky little paper bags, since our appetite wasn ' t too big then, and, boy, have things changed in that respect It took awhile, as we remember, to get used to school and the changing of subjects and teachers but we always adjusted well. The school was a big illusion to us then but now it ' s just a small school. Though v e may remember some little things we definately don ' t want to forget our patient teachers. We would like to thank, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Delano, Mrs. Martinez, Mrs. Pugliese, Mrs. Keane, Mrs. Gay, Mrs. Moskal, Miss Pillsbury, Miss Hadley, Mrs. Hose, Mrs. Cormier, Mr. White,, Miss Rouleau, Mrs. Outlaw, Mr. Smith and a very special thanks to our principal, Mr. Canuel, our secretary, Mrs. Francisco, our nurse, Mrs. Deal and to all the teacher aides that all helped keep us in order. To them all we express our thanks. In the year of 1981, our mirage shifted to the optical illusion called Junior High. We were finally leaving Berkley Elementary behind us. Little did we l r ' iow that we ' d soon be back into that school. Arriving in this illusion, we discovered that many things were diffrent. We were no longer the top notch in the school, we could no longer call younger students puny , for we were the puny ones. We met new friends and new teachers. Our teachers helped us through some tough times. Our school was, but colorful, with arrows tilling us which stairs to go up and down. W§ also had some other rules, some we didn ' t like, that help us. At least thats what our teachers said. A block was placed in Miss Medeiros ' room, which you had to carry to the bathroom during classes, you had a very big problem if the block wasn ' t there.
