Uur Board of Education Aswe began the new school year, we were happy to know that these representatives of our parents were on hand to furnish leadership for our school community. It was accepted by us that these leaders would be able to solve the many problems of this school year, such as hiring of personnel, purchasing of equipment, and paying of bills. As the school years progressed, we realized that their more important job was planning for our educational future. Theirs was the responsibility of getting more equipment and especially more space, so that in the future every Berk1eyHigh student could getacornplete education.
