The elementary phase of this training seems remote to you now. Today,1966, the missle age offers a real challenge to you. In the vital part of your life in your community, I hope that you will persevere in the fields of science, business, arts and education. In your life here at Berkeley Springs High School you have been taught that no real achievements are attained except through merit, service and achieve- ment. I know that as students in this school you have been taught these lessons in self-reliance.
