Tie 89th edition of the B.H.S. Yearbook, entitled The Winning Hand ' , promises to be one of the biggest yearbooks ever, if not one of the best ever. As a staff member of four B.H.S. year- books it is from experience I say that this year ' s book, like the students of Berkeley High, ranks among the best. Berkeley High has been known as a school with high academic, athletic, and social standards. To this day, the school continues to produce only the best graduates. This year ' s yearbook is just one example of the quality and high spirit that B.H.S. produces. I hope you will all enjoy it very much. I would like to acknowledge the following people: Ms. Debbie Goto Mr. Jim Howell of Josten ' s American Yearbook Co., Mr. Calvin Harrell Jr. of Harrell School Pictures Co., Dr. Foxworth, Mr. Daniels, Mr. Teller, Ms. Bennett, and the school administration; and Mr. Kratz and the entire yearbook staff all of whom helped emmensely with the production of this book. Most of all, I would like to dedicate the 1983-1984 B.H.S. Yearbook, The Winning Hand , to the students of Berkeley High School, the best students anywhere in the country. Ian S.
