(Uixce {1 O ' uJU i iA This year ' s Concert Orchestra, under the direction of William Elliot, is the largest one in some time. It has given one concert this year, and will give two more. Among the soloists who will and have performed with the group this year are Yvonne Close, Peter Blayney and Carter Zinn, Devin Binder, Caron Cronin, Caro- line Jamieson, Rachel Einwohner and others. Members of the or- chestra were selected to be in the pit orchestras of the fall musical, The Pajama Game, and the Gilbert and Sullivan ' s operetta The Pirates of Penzance. Members of the group will also go on a short- tour of Hawaii with Concert Chorale shortly after school ends. 1. Rebecca tries to watch the conductor and not the camera. 2. t vf Bh4€ iM The Wind Ensemble, led by Director Chuck Hamilton, performed four concerts this year, including one led by Student Conductors Ethan Hutcheson, Andy Hasse, Tracy Bruner, Carter Zinn, Oriane Williams and Ed Cohen. A high point of the year was the Ensemble ' s trip to the C.M.E.A. Festival in Livermore, where they took top honors in the Performing and Sight-Reading catagories. 1.
