HeMU-N. The Model UN has worked all year to prepare for the 33rd Annual Berkeley Model United Nations Conference. Although a clerical error provided the club with only a small western European coun- try, Luxembourg, the delegation of 9 made quite an impression at the conference, held March 1-3. This year the topics of debate included the rights of poUtical prisoners, dimilitarization of orbital space, trade protectionism and the stature of the peacekeeping forces as well as concern for pollution and energy sources. From the beginning of the conference, the spirit of Luxembourg could be felt. At this conference there was the strange disappearance of a Romanian delegate, many colorful notepassings, and an attack by killer elephants just after lunch. The three days held a lot of good memories as well as an opportunity to meet some new friends. 3. Three Model ambassadors debate tfre issue. The Model U.N.
