MAD DCM Distinctively Black was a newly founded club at BHS dedicated to the motivation self-awareness of the college bound black student. Being Distinctively Black is the process by which one establishes goals identifies problems, and develops tac- tics to solve those problems. Through projects and var- ious programs they achieved goals and defended the interests of the black student. Being Distinctively Black involves a constant struggle to obtain just rules and regulations for all students at BHS. We will im- prove the fundamentals of learning and applying this knowledge academically, while simultaneously explor- ing the origins of our people, Being Distinctively Black means learning from the past, appreciating the present, and looking forward to a rewarding future. While there is strength in numbers, there is more strength in knowledge . . . they intend to combine the two. This year the Mad Dog West Sheik Running Club in- dulged in numerous pre-race uplifting hot tub ensem- bles. They also made it to a few races. After spending the evening frolicking nude and enjoying hot oil body massages the team would arise early (12:30 P.M.) and stumble out to the race course with lounge chairs in hand. The team did very well at its own triathlon, taking all first places in the running, drinking, and hot tubbing events. Leading the perky enthusiasts were Noah enjoyment Pickus and David hotwater White. Special awards were given to Doran fly-by- night McGee, Roland madman Westgate, Katherine don ' t stop Sparks and Roger give it to me baby Daniels for outstanding performances above and be- yond the call of their cause.
