Active in the school and community, the Keys and Key- wanettes were very successful under the leadership of John Gaebler and Mindy Scharlin. The club sponsored several fund- raising activities including a paper drive, a Sadie Hawkins Disco Dance, and a Take-Over Day for the Kiwanis Interna- tional Club. The second semester ' s activities planned by the spring presidents, Rick Sweeney and Eleanor Hall, consisted of an inter-club volleyball game, talent show and involvement in the Special Olympics. A portion of the money raised was given to Stanford Hospital ' s Cancer Pediatric Ward, and the senior class. ' u pl • j timImBh J 1 Under the sponsorship of Tom Johnson the Movie Club was able to raise enough money for a trip to Universal and Fox studios. The club discussed up- coming films and reviewed such box office successes as ' King Kong ' , ' Silver Streak ' and ' Network ' during their weekly meetings. The club also had several presentations on special effects and received a private screening of ' The Wild Bunch ' , at the Pacific Film Archive. 1. Hanna Leider reading up on movies. 2.
