§ FESTIVAL Black Studies classes at Berkeley High Celebreted Kwanza in December. Kwan- za is a Black Nationalistic holiday in cele- bration of their Love Supreme for each other. The festival extends over seven days from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1. It is not a ' Black Christmas ' and should never be construed as such. Each day one of the seven prin- cipals are observed : unity, self-determation, collective work, and faith. Kwanza was celebrated with dancing from the African Dance Ensamble. poetry, and courses of delicious entres. Hopefully these values will be perpetuated throughout the Black com munity for the entire year.
