...But what could our active activists do without good, wholesome entertainment? Not much! This is the reason we need performers to build up the spirit of 76. At Berkeley High we have many talented performers. While the Jazz groups reached their height in perfor- mances, many students continued to develop their talents in make-up, costuming, music, acting, and stagecraft. Using facilities at BHS which could 3asily pass for Bicentennial landmarks, BHS students continued to excell as athletes. Not knowing whether their sport would fall to financial cuts next year, each team gave its all at athletic events.
