Administrators Deal With New ideas were initiated this year as a result of mutual stu- dent, faculty, and administration interest. The initiation of non- mandatory study halls brought the reopening of the student union which was previously closed because of cutting and stealing. Within the student union students are allowed to eat, listen to the radio, and play cards. With the Block B split from the BOC, student body fee holders were admitted to all the home athletic events free. New ideas still to be worked on involve a school within a school concept where each class has its own deans and central building, a student panel for reviewing referrals and suspen- sions, and new attendance procedures with the possibility of a student time clock instead of glassy stares from attendance personnel.
