H- 2 MESSAGE DICK STONE President DON LAUER Vice-prosidont ANN HOLLICK Treasurer CAROLYN DAVIS Secretary PAT KREBS Social Secretary After three unforgettable years at Berkeley High, it is hard to believe that our turn has come to receive diplomas and enter the world as adults. For some, these years have been long ones, but for most of us, they have passed all too quickly. We will be alumni before we realize the significance of these years. I surely hope that they have been as rewarding for everyone of you as they have been for me. We entered Berkeley as the smallest class in recent years and because of our size, had more than our share of obstacles to conquer and surpass. At times I wondered if we would make it, but by working together our projects were always successful. At this time 1 would like to express my deepest appreciation not only to Don, Carolyn, Ann, and Pat, who have given me their generous assistance, but also to so many of the teachers who have contributed their time, advice, and always, their patience. I am unable to express in words how much the honor of being president of this class has meant to me. I will never forget it. But far more important than this single honor arc the rewarding experiences, the good times, and most of all the close friends I’ve made in these three years at Berkeley High. Already I am eagerly awaiting the first reunion of the ball Class of ’58. Thank you and good luck, DICK STONE 26
