HONOR SOCIETY i;or the outstanding success of all our activities this term I owe a great deal of gratitude to Karen and Katherine who worked diligently on all our projects, to Mr. Wcnrich, whose suggestions and help were invaluable, to the tireless efforts of our hat checking chairman Kathy Wheeler, and finally to all the members of the Honor Society. It has been a true inspiration and honor to be president of such a capable group. It is with great sadness that I leave Berkeley High, for nowhere will I again find such diversity, or the inspiration and beauty herein. In the student body, every religion, race, and ideal is represented, and in each there arc outstanding students. Berkeley High can become a true example of the ideal American Democracy. I challenge those remaining and those to come to seek this goal. May the future be with you GEORGE RUBEN Honor Society President CSF With the enthusiastic participation of all the members of CSF, we have had another very successful term. CSF has continued to thrive as a spirited and active organization at Berkeley High. Hat checking and the Fun Nitc concession with the Honor Society produced the means for our contribution to the scholarships for graduating Seniors. A coke date” held for prospective members gave all the assurance that CSF would continue to thrive as an organization at BHS. I know that this term’s activities could not have been carried out so successfully without the unflagging efforts of Bruce Wilson, Vice-president; Ruth Kitell, Secretary-treasurer; Miss Arlene Repetto, co-sponsor; and most of all Mr. Vcrnan Wcnrich, our sponsor. I sincerely wish to thank these people and all the other members of CSF for having made my term as president of CSF so productive.
