SEDIOR PRESIDEM’S iressrge This term was a fitting climax to our last school days. We adjusted ourselves accordingly as we progressed up the ladder of education so that we fitted into the picture of high school life. We finally reached the controlling hand in our school and the time was at hand when the lower classmen looked up to us for guidance. Yes. our high school days were indeed ones to remember, though they went by ever so fast. Our class was blessed with success, not once but several times. Our successes were evidence of the time and work that was spent in order to achieve recognition for outstanding performances. We started the ball rolling by putting over our Junior Prom, The Winter Carousel. one of the few dances to show a profit. We inaugurated the first actual competition in the form of Fun Night. Again we were blessed with success in our dramatics class presentation of Smilin' Through. which served as the dedication of the new Little Theater. Our senior day. Georae Washington Slept Here. was another triumph, as were our dinner and our senior ball. Blue Moon. These accomplishments were symbolic of the fine spirit and enthusiasm of the Fall class of '49. A great deal of credit is due your committee chairmen for their endless work in making your senior days ones to remember. I would also like to thank Mr. LeTendre and members of the faculty for their Dart in making our high school days enjoyable and for assisting us in our senior activities. It was indeed an honor and a privilege to serve as your senior class president, an honor that will be remembered dearly in years to come. I want to thank each and every one of you for vour sud-oort and coooeration. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. Good luck and the best of success in future years. George Norville.
