We sold 2 I 70 sTudenT body cards, which is a record Tor The spring semesTer. We kepT The Treasury Flag Tlying by surpassing our war sTamp quoTa every monTh. We also sTimulaTed parTicipaTion in our sTudenT governmenT. The Board of ConTrol planned Tor a beTTer sTudenT governmenT and a program every Two weeks. BoTh aims were accomplished. For The TirsT Time in our hisTory a sample BOC meeTing was presenTed before The enTire sTudenT body. All imporTanT sTudenT body Topics were discussed in home room. Many worThwhile suggesTions were reporTed by The homeroom represenTaTives aT Their monThly meeTings. One OT The Topics discussed was The Campaign Policy. IT had already been condensed and revised by The BOC. lT allows all candidaTes Tree. democraTic campaigns. A new column in The 'JackeT enTiTled A Peek aT The lv1inuTes kepT The sTudenTs in- Tormed oT BOC aTTairs. The column recorded ThaT The Board was financially generous This Term. IT boughT The swimming Team a compleTe seT oT suiTs and sweaTcloThes. IT also gave The 'JackeT,more money Than ever before. Rallies were placed in The hands oT The Rally CommiTTee. These supplied enTerTain- menT and spurred our spring sporTs Teams on To vicTory. The Board also conTribuTed To our social season by sponsoring The Hawaiian Holiday March TiTTh. A successTul Clean-Up Campaign was held. This was conTinued by The new STuclenT WelTare CommiTTee. All in all This has been a successTul semesTer Through The Tull cooperaTion oT The sTu- denTs and The hard work oT The Board.
