Producing Berkeley Senior High School's yearbook was The iob ot eight seniors chosen from the senior class by a special taculty committee. Keeping the 25th Anniversary in mind, the staff began their work by planning the book and dividing up The sections. Anniversary Edition . . . Taking care ot the business section of the annual, Norma King and Gary Kloeppner consult with Mr. Crabtree in checking the yearbook and advertising sales. Early in the tall ads were sold to the various businesses to assist with the tinancing of The book. Then the statt divided up into sections and began the long process of producing the anniversary edition of the yearbook. This proved to be quite an experience, Layout of individual pages being done by Carol Clark, Jan Bockhorst, Mrs. Holman, layout advisor, and Gary Kribs, requires imagination and careful planning.

Editors ot the Barker do last minute preparation of layout pages before being sent to the printers, Deadline!! Where's the story we need? is that pic- ture cropped? These are words that the iournalism students hear every month from the journalism ad- visor, Mr. Jerry Watson. Besides putting out the Barker monthly, the iour- nalism class also sponsors the yearly Cupid Capers dance.
